David Landsman OBE MA (Oxon) PhD (Cambridge) C Dir - Chairman
David’s career has spanned senior positions in government and corporate worlds and he now advises organisations and individuals on strategy and international public affairs. He joined the British Diplomatic Service in 1989, serving as Charge d’Affaires in Yugoslavia and Ambassador to Albania and Greece as well as in senior roles in defence and security policy. He was for over five years Executive Director of Tata Limited, the Indian conglomerate’s European subsidiary. He is a Visiting Fellow of Cambridge Judge Business School and a Chartered Director.
Alasdair Truett MBE MA, Chief Executive
Alasdair spent twenty years in the British Army advising, planning and executing domestic and overseas intelligence and security policy and operations. He has operated at the political, strategic and tactical levels for national intelligence, national influence, small and large scale wars and counter-terrorism. Since 2017 Alasdair has provided advice and commercial services to leaders in governments and corporates on a spectrum of matters to do with national, corporate and personal intelligence, security and leadership.
Khawar Qureshi QC (LLB, LLM (Cantab)) - Director
Khawar was called to the Bar in 1990 and took Silk in 2006. A leading advocate in commercial litigation, international arbitration, public international law and administrative and constitutional law, Khawar has appeared successfully in the English Court at all levels, been a "A" Panel UK Government Treasury Counsel, a Deputy High Court Judge and in 1993, was the youngest advocate to appear at the International Court of Justice. Khawar has also been Chairman of The City UK Legal Services Group. In addition to hundreds of cases for the UK Government as Treasury Counsel, Khawar has acted for or against around 60 States on complex commercial and international issues, including the USA, Russia, India, Japan, GCC States, Kenya, Pakistan and Italy.
Frederic Raffray LLB, Maîtrise (Paris 1 Panthéon - Sorbonne) Director
Frederic has over 25 years’ (civil, criminal and public law) onshore and offshore experience as a Barrister (England & Wales, called 1991) and Crown Advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey (2004). He has extensive successful experience as an Advocate at appellate level in complex multi-jurisdictional international economic crime (grand) corruption cases, as well as in asset preservation and recovery. His expertise lies in international cooperation, information exchange (including tax), financial intelligence/investigation, asset recovery, and dispute resolution. He has undertaken expert roles in these areas for the World Bank, UNODC and Transparency International amongst others.
